Firelight SettersOur close friends, Warren & Roni Coleman of Vermont, have entrusted us with breeding and raising a litter from their Dixie. Dixie is a daughter of my late, beloved Tweed. Dixie spends most of her hunting time pursuing ruffs in New England but she and Warren also join us each fall for hunting time in Montana and Kansas so we are second home to her. The week of Feb 22nd Dixie is being bred to October Mountain Heath from October Setters. Both are OFA excellent and strong grouse dogs. We had previously bred Dixie’s sister to Heath and were so pleased with the pups and feel this litter should be just as nice. We are not taking any more reservations for puppies at this time, pending whelping to know litter size and gender ratio.

Thanks, that is Dixie. She is 4 yrs old, just not a very big dog, 45-50 lbs.
