We are pleased to announce a litter due Thanksgiving week 2015. We bred our lovely Sally (OFA Good) to the beautiful tri-color October Heath (OFA Excellent). Sally is a 48 lb sweetheart who since 7 months old has hunted a variety of species including ruffed grouse, bobwhite quail, pheasants, sharpies and huns. She was precocious in her puppy season and was pointing, backing and retrieving by seasons end. She is fast and intense in her hunt and adapts her range according to the terrain. In the house Sally must have a stuffed toy in her mouth and is most often found laying with her head on my feet.

Sally

The sire, Heath, is a handsome tri color just under 60 lbs. He has excellent conformation and is a solidly built male yet is smooth and athletic. He also has all wild bird experience on the prairies and in the woods. His previous litters have produced very good looking bird dogs with good health history.

Blue and tri-color puppies are expected. Inquiries welcome from hunting companion homes.

For what its worth; I like your description of the parents and photos very much.
I too have been enjoying your photos and descriptions of your setters, especially Sally. We have an October setter sired by Heath. Blue is a perfect gentleman, a driven bird finder and has a beautiful and staunch point. He comes by everything naturally. It sounds like Sally and Heath will produce some outstanding hunting dogs that will be enjoyable companions.
Best wishes to you.
